We Support Animal Rescue! Do you?
We know that many people want dogs, and all for different reasons–to train as a guide dog, as a companion animal, or as a friend for another pet. But please, don't BUY a dog from a breeder! A purebred dog isn't "better" than a mixed breed-in fact, it's been scientifically proven that most mixed breed dogs have less health issues. And if you're still fixed on a purebred dog, remember, there are still PLENTY of dumped and abandoned purebreds in rescues and shelters! Contrary to popular belief, mixed breed dogs or dogs from rescues don't have problems. Sure, they may be scared of loud noises, but most dogs go on to live happy, healthy, normal doggy lives.
So please, join us in supporting mixed breed dogs, purebred dogs, and dogs who were once street dogs–after all, a dog is a dog, no matter where it comes from!
Below are a list of our trusted animal rescues*. Most rescues care for animals they've rescued from kill shelters or on the street. Remember, there's a perfect dog waiting for you out there. And you don't need to pay thousands of dollars for it!
*NOTE: Dogs can be found on Craigslist, too. Most rescues post their dogs on Craigslist to try and get more people to adopt them. In fact, we found our Pups on Craigslist. She was from a family that couldn't care for her anymore, but loved her very, very much. They refused to take any money for her, and equipped us with supplies and her toys.
